RESPUESTAS DE MARÍAVan para Marcos, mi sobrino en Peru, quien 16 años, quien está muy enfermo. Hace un año, que se enfermó. El estaba perdiendo sangre por la nariz, y le estaba saliendo moretones en diferentes partes de su cuerpo. De allí, fue él al diagnosticado. Y pensaron que tenía purpura. No se mejoró, y necesita un tratamiento médico muy costoso, el que se trata de un tipo de quimioterapia. Y encima unas transfusiones de sangre y plaquetas por continuas pérdidas de sangre que el tiene. En el caso de el, de Marcquitos, cuando se le interna en la emergencia, se le da la sangre necesaria, pero con el compromiso de devolverla. Los padres buscan amigos, parientes o personas que pueden ser revisado para ver si su sangre es apta. Sí, por ejemplo, el necesita un tratamiento de quimioterapia. Pero antes de recibirlo, deben tener la cantidad de sangre y plaquetas que va a necesitar después del tratamiento. Entonces no lo recibirá hasta que obtengan los donantes. Me dicen que va necesitar unas 7 unidades de sangre y plaquetas. Así es. Por lo menos, cuesta $80 por unidad. Trabajando un molino cosiendo bolsas de arroz, en toda la semana, hacen 60 soles juntos que equivale a $10 cada uno. Viven en el campo de Peru, la parte norte, en la costa, y su casita carece de los servicios básicos como agua potable, desagüe y electricidad. No, no lo tienen.
